David Shaw - Chief Information Security Officer
David Shaw serves as CISO and senior vice president of security solutions architecture at Enersec. With a wealth of cyber security experience David has led some of the world’s strongest and most innovative teams of technology engineers, overseeing breakthrough cryptographic hardware technologies including Hardware Security Modules.
David has held senior positions at nCipher and Thales in the area of PKI development and design. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire and is an information security specialist at Government and Enterprise level leading the Enersec Secure Infrastructure Consultancy, which oversees client architecture, implementation, cryptography and HSM technology.
Wajid Aziz - Chief Technology Officer
Wajid Aziz is Enersec’s CTO and senior vice president of PKI Solutions Engineering. Wajid oversees the development of Government and Enterprise level cryptographic architecture.
His teams are responsible for delivering the core at the heart of Enersec’s innovative products, including the user interface, applications and frameworks. Wajid has held senior crypto consultancy positions at CGI, Hewlett Packard and Vistorm and is regarded by many within the cyber security industry as the go-to guy PKI specialist for Critical National Infrastructure.
Simon Astbury - Chief Operating Officer
Simon Astbury is Enersec’s chief operating officer. An industry veteran with over 25 years experience overseeing Enersec’s business development, investment and strategy. Simon previously worked in the computer games industry working on such titles as Tiger Woods 99 PGA Tour Golf, Lego Loco, Dune 2000 and F1 Manager, before moving onto designing and implementing the network security architecture for the now infamous Fixed Odd’s Betting Terminals. This led to a move into Government and Military level cyber security working at the highest levels of assurance for Sussex Police, IBM, ATOS, Northrop Grumman and CGI.
Simon serves on the company’s executive team and oversees all legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation and securities compliance, global security and privacy.
